KRATOS SAFETY NIRO Fall Arrester on Rope with Energy Absorber is a reliable fall protection device for working at heights. The system consists of a stainless steel rope grab, a 10 metre long and 12 mm diameter polyester Kernmantle rope, and an energy absorber designed to reduce the impact force on the user in the event of a fall.
When the user moves (up or down), the fall arrester slides along the anchor line. In the event of a fall, the device stops the fall instantly on the anchor line. The rope grab must not be removed from the rope. One end of the rope is equipped with a reinforced loop and the other end with a stopper knot. The sewing is protected with a strong transparent covering sleeve which protects the end and also makes the stitches visible for easy inspection prior to use.
