CHEMI-PHARM CHEMISEPT G is an ethanol-based colourless skin antiseptic for use before surgical procedures, injections and punctures. It is also suitable for preoperative skin antisepsis. Colourless composition makes it also suitable for use in cosmetic procedures. Chemisept G has a broad fungicidal and bactericidal effect, being able to destroy Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (incl. Mycobaterium terrae) and fungi, deactivates viruses (HBV, HIV, HCV, Vaccinia, Adeno, Rota). The effect of the product lasts 3 hours. As Chemisept G has passed tests for BVDV (HCV surrogate) and vaccinia viruses, the product inactivates all encapsulated viruses.

Complies with EN 13727 Standard specifies a test method and the minimum requirements for bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectant and antiseptic products; EN 13624 suspension test for the evaluation of fungicidal or yeasticidal activity of chemical disinfectants; EN 14348 suspension test for the evaluation of mycobactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants; EN 12791 Standard for surgical hand disinfection.
