DUPONT TYVEK XPERT Protective Coverall, Type 5B/6B
DUPONT TYVEK Xpert Protective Coverall, Type 5B/6B pack of 25. Robust yet lightweight protection providing an excellent barrier against fine particles and low-level sprays in a white hooded coverall. Features stitched external seams, a respirator fit three-piece hood, an ergonomic design, elasticated wrists, ankles, face, and waist (glued-in), and a Tyvek® zipper with a pin lock slider zipper pull and a storm flap. Suitable for a variety of applications including pharmaceutical handling, chemical processing, general maintenance, and spray painting.
Applications for Tyvek Xpert garments include those found in pharmaceutical handling, chemical processing, the oil and gas industry, general maintenance and operations, automatic spray painting and many others.
STANDARDS:
Complies with Category III, which includes exclusively the risks that may cause very serious consequences such as death or irreversible damage to health.
Type 5B requirements for protective clothing for use against solid and hazardous particles. “B” (Biological) provides additional protection against infective agents (bacteria, viruses, biological contaminants).
Type 6B requirements for protective clothing for splashes of chemical products. “B” (Biological) also protects against infective agents.
EN 1073-2 Standard specifies the requirements and test methods for non-ventilated protective clothing against particulate radioactive contamination.
