BLS ZERO 31 FFP3 Particulate Respirator with Valve is the new FFP3-only series with the breathing resistance of an FFP1. The pre-formed and elastic support makes an easier and reliable fit to all kinds of faces. It offers an excellent visual field and great compatibility with glasses. Eolo® exhalation valve: an ultralight membrane concentrates the exhaled air into two zones of maximum aperture, 30% wider than before. With these improvements breathing resistance decreases significantly.

Armor® layer is an external protective layer that ensures the protection of the filtering material from dirt, dust and liquids as well as the normal mechanical stress due to prolonged use thus extending and preserving filtering efficiency and making the device safer.

EN 149 filtered half mask and respirator standard for protection against particles. Click HERE to read how to choose a respirator.

  • EN 149:2001+A1:2009
  • Marking letter R on the mask indicates that the respirator is re-usable (it can be used more than once)
  • An additional marking letter D indicates that a mask has passed an optional clogging test using dolomite dust. Such mechanical filter respirators protect against the inhalation of particulates such as dust particles, droplets, and aerosols.

Warnings. BLS ZERO 31 FFP3 respirator with exhalation valve does not protect the wearer from gases or vapours. A gas respirator should be used to protect against gases and vapours. Dust masks must not be used in environments where the oxygen content of the air is less than 17%, the composition or concentration of the dust is unknown or the dust is life-threatening. The wearer of the mask must not have a beard or moustache that would affect the effectiveness of the mask.

To check suitability, always proceed as follows before using a dust mask. Carefully cover the front of the dust mask with both hands so that you do not move it out of position. In the case of a CLAPPING dust mask, breathe deeply IN. If air leaks from around the nose, readjust the nose clip to eliminate the leak. If air leaks from the sides of the respirator, adjust the position of the straps to eliminate the leak. If you do not achieve proper tightness, do not enter the hazardous area.
