PORTWEST FR59 Winter Welding Jacket
PORTWEST FR59 Winter Welding Jacket is perfect for the demands of the offshore industry. Constructed with the same outer fabric as the FR50 and combined with an extra thick wadding insulation and FR cotton lining for extra warmth. This style also has high visibility reflective tape double stitched for enhanced visibility. Features include triple stitched seams, high visibility strips on shoulders, arms and body, concealed 2-way front brass zip and two front slant chest pockets with flaps. The garment also has an inner waist adjustment for a snug fit. This style has the added benefit of a detachable hood with brass zip attachment.
Meeting all the required EN standards including the welding standard: EN ISO 11612 standard analyses protective properties of garments, their materials (protective fabrics) and accessories when presented with heat and flames. EN ISO 11611 safety standard for protective clothing for use in welding and related processes. EN ISO 1149 standard for protective clothing (or gloves) for protection against electric arcs. EN 342 standard for protective clothing for protection in cold environments ranging from chill (-5°C) through to cold store (-25°C) to deep freeze (-40°C).
