WORTEX 106 Leather TIG Welding Gloves are thin and durable. Suitable for TIG welding where high demands are made on fingertip sensitivity. Heat-resistant KEVLAR thread seams, wide wrist made of cowhide leather. Gloves have good resistance to ignition and small splashes of molten metal.

Areas of use: TIG welding, construction, maintenance, in industry, metallurgy, etc.

  • Heat-resistant KEVLAR thread seams
  • Suitable for TIG welding

STANDARDS:

Category II – Gloves providing protection against medium risk.

EN 21420: 2020 – Standard defines the general requirements valid for all protective gloves.

EN 12477: 2001+ A1: 2005 Type B – Standard for protective gloves for welders.

EN 388: 2016 + A1:2008 – Standard for protective gloves against mechanical risks:

  • Abrasion resistance 1 (min. 0, max 4)
  • Cut resistance 1 (min. 0, max 5)
  • Tear resistance 1 (min. 0, max 4)
  • Puncture resistance 2 (min. 0, max 4)
  • ISO 13997 cut resistance X (not tested)

EN 407 – Standard for protective gloves against thermal risks (heat and/or fire):

  • Burning behaviour 4 (min. 0, max 4)
