Carbon Dioxide Fire Extinguisher OA, 5 kg (89B). Suitable for indoor use, including server rooms, archives, and laboratories — ideal for extinguishing fires involving highly flammable and combustible liquids (such as gasoline, oils, alcohols, fats, etc.) as well as electrical equipment under voltage.
This extinguisher suppresses flames chemically, by filling a closed space with carbon dioxide (CO₂), which in high concentrations blocks the oxidation process, preventing flame formation. This type of extinguisher is particularly effective for flammable liquids and melting solid substances (e.g. plastic products, gasoline, alcohol, varnish, lubricants), flammable gases, and electrical equipment up to 1000 V, from a minimum distance of one meter. It is considered one of the safest and most equipment-friendly ways to extinguish fires involving electronics or server rooms.
