COVERGUARD EUROWELD 140 Leather Welding Gloves
COVERGUARD EUROWELD 140 Leather Welding Gloves. The gloves are made from high-quality split cowhide leather. Separately stitched wing-thumb design ensures a more comfortable grip and increased durability. The welding gloves provide protection against sparks and contact heat (up to 100 °C for 15 seconds). The cuff length is 15 cm.

Areas of use: MMA welding (Rutile or cellulosic), MAG/MIG welding (mixed gas or CO2), coated wires; Plasma cutting, gouging, flame cutting work, etc.
STANDARDS:
Category II – Gloves providing protection against medium risk.
EN 21420: 2020 – Standard defines the general requirements valid for all protective gloves.
EN 12477: 2001+ A1: 2005 Type B – Standard for protective gloves for welders.
EN 388: 2016 + A1:2008 – Standard for protective gloves against mechanical risks:
- Abrasion resistance 3 (min. 0, max 4)
- Cut resistance 1 (min. 0, max 5)
- Tear resistance 3 (min. 0, max 4)
- Puncture resistance 2 (min. 0, max 4)
EN 407:2020 – Standard for protective gloves against thermal risks (heat and/or fire):
- Burning behaviour 4 (min. 0, max 4)
- Contact heat 1 (min. 0, max 4)
- Convective heat 2 (min. 0, max 4)
- Radiant heat X (not tested)
- Resistance to small splashes of molten metal 4 (min. 0, max. 4)
- Resistance to large quantities of molten metal X (not tested)
